"No one wants to die. Even people who want to go to heaven don’t want to die to get there. And yet death is the destination we all share. No one has ever escaped it. And that is as it should be, because Death is very likely the single best invention of Life. It is Life’s change agent. It clears out the old to make way for the new."

Coming Soon : Stone Souls: The Journey Continues... (Winter 2025)
It's been 10 years since my last book was released and hundreds of cemeteries have been visited since then.
Stone Souls is the continuation of my Journey of Visiting at least one Cemetery in every state. Thanks for Joining me. :)
"With the assistance of Cemetery Photography the memory of past things is preserved and the foreknowledge of some things to come is revealed, by then things inanimate admonish us."

Now Available - Stone Souls: The Never Ending Journey

“So many buried are long forgotten. Relatives have died off, decades, sometimes centuries have passed. They whisper, ‘Remember me.’” ~SG / CP
As a child my fascination with Cemeteries started early. It was a place where I would go to be at peace, a place where I could envision the future. A future one day sooner or later we will all meet.
This collection of images spans over 20 years and I share with you what my eyes see in these glorious time portals. It’s art, beauty, calculative craftsmanship, happiness, intrigue, mystery,
sorrow and where our loved ones reside.
This book is dedicated to my family and friends who have seen this future way too soon.

Now Available- Black Waters of Melancholy: Dark Poetry / Photography by Sid Graves

Within these pages rest the sordid thoughts of an old soul who finds peace in the darkest corners of the world. You will find few uplifting words in this book and little to inspire, soothe or even help you cope. What you will find within these pages are poems that express the darkness many fear yet others embrace. Some require you to take time to examine this bizarre existence we call life, to gain a glimpse into the mind of those who make these shadows their home. Some paint a vivid picture with words that capture the beauty amid the macabre. Some express a dark sense of humor that causes the little clown in my mind to display his sinister grin. In short this book is for the dark, demented and those just a bit twisted. So find yourself a dimly lit corner, curl up with some hot tea and pastries and enjoy spending time with me in my darkness. J.L. Parsons
It was an Honor to work with J.L. Parsons on her first of many books. Her Cemetery Print selections married her words magically and I look forward to our next collaboration. If you love Dark Poetry you must have this in your collection.
